HEAD's model names tell you most of what you need. The Radical line comes in PRO and TOUR versions, and each shape comes as a "15" or an "EX15". The Boom and Gravity are specialist PRO-level paddles. All six HEAD paddles we review use a 15 mm core and a raw carbon face, and all are on the USA Pickleball approved list.

PRO or TOUR?

The PRO models ($199.95) use HEAD's three-layer TRIFLEX Versatility Core: a polypropylene honeycomb center with an EPP foam perimeter and EVA foam shell. The TOUR models ($169.95) use HEAD's thermoformed ThermoTech construction with Injected Foam Walls, at a lower price.
