Quick Verdict
9.4/10Research scoreA big, stable sweet spot and strong control from a foam all-court paddle, with adjustable weighting and a durable spin surface.
Buy at SelkirkOur 1–10 ratings, built from the maker’s published specs and scored the same way for every brand. How we score
Calculated from our four ratings, weighted for each kind of player. How these are weighted
On our spec-based scale it rates 8.5 for power: the foam ReactCore and 7.9–8.2 oz weight add power, while the shorter widebody shape adds less leverage than the elongated OMNI (9.5). Selkirk says the core gives power when you want it and control when you need it.
A 16 mm core, a multi-layer T700 carbon face and the shorter widebody shape give it a control rating of 9.5, higher than the elongated OMNI (9.0).
Its T700 carbon face and InfiniGrit surface give it a spin rating of 9.5; the widebody shape earns no shape points, so it rates a little below the elongated OMNI (10). Selkirk says InfiniGrit is engineered to stay within USA Pickleball's surface-roughness limits while lasting about three times longer than traditional raw carbon texture.
An 8 in face, a 16 mm core, Selkirk's MOI perimeter weights and a 7.9–8.2 oz weight give it our top sweet-spot rating of 10. Selkirk rates the widebody's sweet spot 10 on its own scale, versus 9 for the elongated.
Each section is our analysis of the manufacturer’s published specs unless it says otherwise.
Manufacturer data
Selkirk publishes a swing weight of about 112 as sold, compared with 118 for the elongated OMNI, so it should feel quicker in hand battles. The grip is 5.6 in, shorter than the elongated version's 5.8 in. The removable MOI weights let you shift mass to fine-tune the balance.
Selkirk lists a 5.6 in handle: long enough for most players who hit two-handed backhands. The grip circumference is 4.25 in, thicker than most paddles, which favors larger hands; it can't easily be made slimmer. At about 8.05 oz, it is in the mid-weight range most paddles fall into. Comfort is personal: grip size, handle length and weight are the published specs that affect it most.
Manufacturer data
Selkirk publishes a twist weight of about 7.9 as sold, the second-highest published twist weight of any paddle we review after the Selkirk LABS Project Boomstik Widebody (8.2), and well above the elongated OMNI (6.9).
Manufacturer information
Selkirk says the MOI perimeter weights can be removed and rearranged by hand, with reference marks for returning them to the factory position. Selkirk backs the OMNI with a limited lifetime warranty (U.S.) and offers 30-day returns on paddles bought from selkirk.com. The most common complaints from buyers on Selkirk.com, across both shapes, are edge-guard durability and the grip getting slippery with sweat.
Manufacturer description and buyer feedback
Selkirk describes a plush feel on control shots from the foam core, with dwell to grab the ball for spin. Selkirk's buyer reviews cover both shapes (4.8/5 from 488 on Selkirk.com, October 2026), so we can't separate widebody feedback; across both shapes, buyers most often describe a strong balance of power and control.
