Vatic Pro Prism Flash
Players who want a controlled, plush carbon paddle for less
PREMIUMPICKLEBALL GEARHead-to-Head Comparison
The Vatic Pro Prism Flash scores 9.0 and the Volair Mach 1 Forza scores 8.9 on our spec-based rating scale. Calculated from each maker’s published specs; we don’t play-test paddles.
It's hard to find two paddles closer on paper. Both are 16 mm hybrid-shape honeycomb paddles with foam-injected walls and Toray T700 carbon faces, and on our scale they tie on power (8.5), control (9) and sweet spot (9.5). The one gap is spin, where the Vatic Pro Prism Flash, with its heat-compressed raw carbon texture, rates ahead of the Volair Mach 1 Forza, 9 to 8.5.
Buyers back both: 4.9 out of 5 from 2,700+ ratings on Vatic Pro's site (shared across the Prism shapes) and 4.8 from 300+ on Volair's. The Prism Flash usually costs less, which makes it my pick for most people. The Forza is worth a look if you want a 5.5-inch handle without stepping up to a long-handle version.
