Dan’s Take
Polypropylene against foam is the story here. The JOOLA Agassi Pro V pairs a polypropylene (PP) core with a tapered throat, while the Selkirk OMNI uses a foam core. Same length, same 16 mm thickness, similar price. On our scale the foam is what puts the OMNI ahead on power (9.5 vs 8), with smaller edges on spin (10 vs 9.5) and sweet spot (9 vs 8.5). Control is a tie at 9.
Buyers like both: 4.8 out of 5 on each, from 80+ ratings on JOOLA's site and 500+ on Selkirk's. JOOLA aims the Agassi at former tennis players who hit high on the face, and it comes in a 14 mm version too. For most people, though, I'd lean toward the OMNI.
