Head-to-Head Comparison

The Volair SHIFT WB scores 9.1 and the HEAD Radical PRO15 scores 8.6 on our spec-based rating scale. Calculated from each maker’s published specs; we don’t play-test paddles.
Dan’s Take
Core construction separates these wide-bodies. Volair's SHIFT WB has a 14 mm full-foam floating core, and on our scale that's a big part of why it scores 10 for power and 10 for sweet spot, against 8.5 and 9 for HEAD's Radical PRO15, which uses a 15 mm honeycomb center with an EPP foam perimeter. The HEAD's one edge is spin (8.5 vs 8).
Buyer feedback is thin on both: the SHIFT WB has 4.8 out of 5 from 10+ ratings on Volair's site, and the Radical PRO15 has too few on HEAD's site to go on. The SHIFT is also the cheaper of the two. I'd go with the SHIFT WB unless you want a shorter 5-inch handle or a honeycomb-based core.
