Our Review
Power
On our spec-based scale it rates 10 for power: an elongated 16.5 in face, a solid foam core and ONIX's ThermoFused construction all add power, taking it to the top of the scale.
Control
A 16 mm core and raw carbon face point to strong control (9 on our scale), though the elongated shape and foam core lean the paddle toward power.
Spin
Its T700 raw carbon fiber face and elongated shape give it a spin rating of 9.5. ONIX says the naturally textured raw carbon surface increases spin; it doesn't name a separate branded texture, so it scores as a standard textured surface on our scale.
Sweet spot
A 7.5 in face, 16 mm core and ThermoFused construction give it a sweet-spot rating of 9.5. ONIX describes an expanded sweet spot on the Praxis.
Maneuverability
At 7.75–8.25 oz it sits in the midweight range. ONIX says the 16 mm adds weight compared with the 13 mm, but it doesn't publish separate weights or a swing weight.
Stability
ONIX credits the solid Endurafoam core and ThermoFused construction with consistent, lasting responsiveness. It doesn't publish twist weight.
Build quality
ONIX's patented ThermoFused process molds the paddle to exact specifications, and the Endurafoam core is designed not to break down over time the way honeycomb cores can. ONIX covers it with a one-year limited warranty.
Feel
As of September 2026, ONIX's website shows an average of 5.0 out of 5 from 7 ratings. Customers on ONIX's site most often praise its large sweet spot, solid, responsive feel and easy power without losing control; one notes the paddle is slightly head-heavy by design. With only a handful of reviews there isn't enough for a consistent pattern, so we haven't adjusted any rating.
